Hello everyone,
We are in need of help, your help! If you are already helping with some competition related task, great! Thank you. If not, then please consider helping with the Trucking Team and/or Pit Crew.
As with so many of the activities that families are involved in, volunteers are crucial to success. Thank you for helping in whatever way you can to enhance our children’s band experience.
Thank you to the people that attended last night’s session.
For everyone else, please respond to this email and let me know if you are available to help in any way.
The two biggest needs are (1) people that can tow a small trailer with their personal vehicle and (2) pit crew volunteers to help at the competition site, pushing on and off equipment for the actual performance. If you are available to help at just one of the events, that would be helpful and greatly appreciated. Please let me know.
THIS SATURDAY:
We will be meeting outside, behind the band room, at 9am on Saturday to demonstrate and rehearse the loading process. If you are available and interested in seeing what is involved, please come.
Actual loading for the Dublin show will take place starting around 1:30pm on Saturday. If you can help, especially with towing, please let me know, and come on Saturday.
Foothill’s performance is scheduled for 7:40pm. If you are planning on attending the show on Saturday and can help with Pit Crew, meet us at 6:30pm in the Dublin High School parking lot, where the band trailer and trucks are parked (see linked map – you will not be able to park there), and again, please let me know.
