Message from Rob

Happy Monday Foothill Instrumental Music Parents!

Our Marching Band and Color Guard had an incredible performance this weekend at Dublin. Not only did they take 1st place in 4A, but also took 3 of 5 additional awards: Best Music, Best Percussion, and Best Color Guard!

I also wanted to thank the army of parents that make these sort events happen, and your dedication to every ensemble at Foothill.

Band Review

Band Review is but a short 12 days away and there is still a lot to do!  There are two high profile roles we need help filling:

  1. Logistics Lead – Helping the coordination and movement of equipment, food, instruments, uniforms and more. This lead will be working very closely with our spectacular Trucking Lead, PEter Goebel. Taking this role is critical to the day, and you will learning from someone who is incredibly experienced!
  2. Signs Lead – Someone to help gather requirements from all the leads as to what signs they need and getting them printed. We have an alumni parent that can help you get ramped up, so you would not be alone and learning from the best!

It is required of every family from all ensembles to sign up for two shifts, so please sign up today on our Sign Up Genius!

Dublin was a huge success, thankful for all of the parent volunteers for driving, loading, feeding, and just simply helping make the day smoother for staff and students. The band placed 1st in their division with a score of 73.325 and also won best music, percussion, and color guard.
