Symphony Orchestra
Students had a very productive week! They started the chair placement auditions on Monday, which was pretty exciting for everyone. Each day, Mr. Nishimori would test one person at a time from each section. The people that weren’t going would spend their waiting time practicing. Auditioning was very nerve-wracking but also extremely fun. Additionally, many have learned a lot from the new piece they had to learn for the audition. It will take a few more days to finish the audition.
Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band
Students spent last week practicing their pep band music in class. The first football game is this Friday, August 25. Go, Falcon!
Students also received their chair placement audition music and will be starting auditions next week. Students in the 2nd period Symphonic Band and the 3rd period Concert Band will combine again this year for performances.
