Message from Rob

Hello Parents!

Our ensembles competed at Lincoln Review of Champions this Saturday and represented Foothill incredibly well! Here is an overview of their results:

Marching Band and Color Guard: FIRST in our division, also scoring First Place in the Music, Brass, and Color Guard sub-categories.

Jazz A: FIRST in our Division!

Symphonic Band: THIRD in our division.

Wind Ensemble: THIRD in our division.

Jazz B: Fourth in our division.

While everyone was putting all the equipment away after midnight, I heard a number of freshmen saying “We got so many trophies!” I replied to them “Welcome to Foothill. That is what Foothill does.” It is that tradition, improvement, and growth Mr. Fagundes and Mr. Nishimori continue to bring to Foothill.

As you can see from the results at Lincoln, Foothill Instrumental Music program continues to be one of the best programs in Northern California, and will continue to grow and improve over time. Your Annual Donations make it possible for our students to showcase their talents and represent Foothill so well. Thank you to everyone who has donated and thank you to everyone who continues to donate. If you haven’t yet, or are unable, we appreciate any donation or help you are able to offer.

With gratitude,

-Rob
