Hi parents/guardians/families of our amazing music program kids!
We have an incredible 50th anniversary Band Review event coming up October 26th, and need your help to make it a success! It is also our largest fundraiser for the year, and supports all of the music ensembles and programs.
Please see the link below for a SignUp Genius that will let you sign up for one or more volunteer timeslots. Do you like food? Do you want to meet the other band directors and judges? Do you like directing traffic? There’s something for everyone! It is a super fun event, and we need each music program family to sign up for at least two shifts. Many hands make light work!
2024 Foothill Band Review – ADULT Volunteers Signup
Note: There is a separate Sign-Up Genius for students, but if you want to pick your slots so you can see your kid perform, the Marching Band and Color Guard will be performing in the parade at around 8:40am and closing out the evening at around 10:30pm in the field show.
If you aren’t available on the 26th, there are also volunteer opportunities on Friday the 25th and Sunday the 27th.
We also need some more folks to lead some of the areas – we can give guidance on what is needed, and it’s a great way to meet lots of other parents and become more involved in the music program community! For new families, FYI that the Band Review hosts 50+ bands from all over California, and takes place in 3 different locations in Pleasanton throughout the day: Downtown Pleasanton (parade competition down Main Street), Amador Valley High School (concert competitions), and Foothill High School (Field Show Competition).
