Hello Winterguard members and parents!
It’s hard to believe, but we are now approaching our home show! In this email you will find volunteer information, show day itinerary, and transportation information.
VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
As a reminder from an email our Boosters sent out: We are in DESPERATE NEED of parent volunteers for our Winter Show this Saturday at AVHS that benefits all of the FHS instrumental music program. Our Band Boosters funds so much of our music program including: sheet music, clinicians, cleaned and working instruments, festivals, uniforms and much more. This Winter Show is our opportunity to raise some money for the WHOLE PROGRAM. We have not had too many fundraisers this year so this Winter Show is critical for our program funding.
Right now we have 1 of 12 shifts filled in our concessions tent (and it’s the Booster Treasurer). We are planning to make the very popular chow mein but right now I have 2 of the 11 slots filled. We need door monitors to make sure everyone is buying a wristband and right now, nobody is monitoring the door from 1:30-6PM and nobody is signed up for the Performers entrance. Many of your students have volunteered to help, take a shift at the same time.

TRANSPORTATION: DROP OFF AND PICK UP
SInce we are home for this show, students will need to be dropped off at Amador Valley High School at the call time. WE ARE NOT CARPOOLING FOR THIS SHOW
ARRIVAL TIME: 10:15am MEMBERS MUST BE SHOW READY! We are starting our show warm up 15 minutes after the set arrival time.
PICK UP TIME: 6:00pm the pick up time is after awards have been completed and after any jobs students need to complete at the show.
