San Diego Trip April 2024 [Canceled]

UPDATE:

Over the break we took a look at the sign ups for the San Diego trip and saw that there was a low number of interest. The directors had to make the difficult decision of cancelling the San Diego trip due to the low number of sign ups. This was not an easy decision to make as we were looking forward to this trip in April. We are hoping that we can plan a San Diego trip in the future & look forward to that.

For those of you that paid the initial deposit through Future Fund, it will be returned to the credit card used and will show up as a refund on your credit card statement. If you submitted a check, we will be returning checks back to the students this week. Please let any of the directors or board members know if you have any questions about the initial deposit.

We apologize for the disappointment to those that signed up.

When: Thursday April 18th (departing roughly around lunch time) – Sunday April 21st (returning sometime in the evening)

Where: USS Midway Museum, side by side rehearsal with SDSU ensemble(s), Balboa Park/Timken Museum, and the San Diego Zoo. Plans subject to changed based on availability.

The total of the trip will be $700 which includes all of the activities above, bus, hotel (5 students in a room), a shirt, all breakfast, one lunch and one dinner. The rest of the meals students will be expected to cover their own meals. Expect to budget an extra $150-200 for extra meals and souvenirs. Checks should be made out to Foothill Band Booster Club. Chaperone pricing will be determined later.

In order for your spot to be secured you will need to have the form filled out AND your deposit of $150 submitted.
