Happy Wednesday parents and welcome to our first ever Help Wanted Wednesday message! Please give this all a read as I tried to keep this as short as possible.
All of you have been such spectacular volunteers already in such a short amount of time, and we are all incredibly grateful for your gift of time to our kids, Foothill Instrumental Music, and the directors.
8th Grade Night Tailgate on 9/29 at 4p
On Friday September 29th, we are inviting eighth graders from Hart, Pleasanton Middle School, and Sunol Glen to be part of our Marching Band. The 8th graders will play music with the band in the stands and get a feel of how amazing it is to be a member of Foothill Instrumental Music.
The Boosters will be hosting a tailgate for all band members and the 8th grade students. We’ll be only serving hot dogs, a vegetarian option, chips, capri suns, water, and cookies.
We are hoping for eight amazing volunteers to help make this happen! Two volunteers on the grill, four to help serve the food, and two to help clean up. You can sign up to volunteer below:

Volunteering at Band Review
Band Review is the largest event we host, is our largest fundraiser of the year, and is an all hands on deck event for all members and families of Foothill Instrumental Music. Since we need so much help to make this incredible event happen, it is required that every parent volunteer for at least two shifts.
With that, we are having our first Band Review meeting on Tuesday 9/26 at 7:30p in the Foothill Library. We will be talking about roles, responsibilities, time obligation, and more! We will also have the Sign Up Genius ready for your review by Monday 9/25. Expect a link from us on Monday!
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at president@foothillmusic.org
Everyone has been absolutely phenomenal this year. I cannot thank you enough for your generosity of your time, your treasure, and your talent. I am proud to be a part of this incredible community we all continue to build for the benefit of our kids.
With gratitude,
– Rob
