General Parents Meeting
Wednesday, Jan 29 7:00 pm at MPR
- Incoming freshman parents at 7pm
- Current high school band parents at 7:30pm
Winter Show Kickoff Meeting
We will be holding our Winter Show Kick Off Meeting on Thursday, Jan 23 at 7:30p in the Library. We look forward to your help with this event. It is our 2nd largest fundraiser of the year. All proceeds benefit all music programs at Foothill.
Winter Percussion and Guard
We need drivers!! Just like I mentioned in our parent meeting back in December. It is important that these students get to our competition. Each volunteer must complete a three step clearing process:
- Step 1: Fill out the Volunteer Clearance Form
- Step 2: Get fingerprinted (CLICK HERE for live scan locations)
- Step 3: Fill out the Driver Insurance Form as soon as possible. Once the Driver Insurance Form has been completed it needs to be submitted to the school office to complete the clearance process.
Please contact Mr. Fagundes if you have any questions about volunteering or if you have a truck/drive the box truck and can transport the equipment for the show.

End of Year Banquet
Friday, May 16 – small gym
Symphony/String Orchestra
- March 12 or 13 – Sonoma State Orchestra Festival (0 Period Symphony Orchestra only)
Jazz A
- February 6 – Concert with Hart+PMS
- February 8 – Campana Jazz Festival @Amador Valley
Jazz B
- February 6 – Concert with Hart+PMS
- February 8 – Campana Jazz Festival @Amador Valley
Wind Ensemble/Symphonic Band/Concert Band/Percussion Class
- February 28th – Festival at Chabot College (All 3 bands will be performing)
- March 6th – Concert with Hart and PMS (Wind Ensemble only)
- March 14th – Fresno State Festival (Wind Ensemble only)
- Leaving @ 12:45, which will be after the school’s SAT exam.
- March 31st – April 4th – Wind Ensemble Auditions for 25-26 school year
- April 29th – Symphonic Band and Concert Band Concert @ Amador Valley
- April 30th – Wind Ensemble Concert @ Amador Valley
- May 2nd or 3rd – CMEA @ Amador Valley (All 3 bands will be performing)
- Performance Dress Required
Please review the required performance attire for Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, and Percussion Class. This is mandatory for all performances with these ensembles.
Individual Donation Needed
The Foothill Music Program is fully dependent on family donations to support various core activities. If you have donated, we thank you! If you have not yet donated, we ask that you consider doing so this school year! Our budget for the year is $140,000, and so far, we have raised $97,296(See donation thermometer here) Please note that buses, food, truck rentals, and staff/clinician costs for competitions are covered by family donations. Your support directly impacts your student’s experience in the program. Please support the Foothill Music Program by donating the suggested amounts below.
• Concert/Symphonic Band – $150
• Wind Ensemble – $225
• Jazz A/Jazz B – $200
• String/Symphony Orchestra – $100
• Fall Season: Marching Band/Color Guard/Percussion – $900
• Winter Season: Guard – $900
• Winter Season: Percussion – $900
Credit card donations are accepted through Foothill Future Fund and through CutTime payment(Look for SMS ”{student name} has a balance on their account at the FOOTHILL HS BAND program.”).
