Message from Our President, Holly Crane

Oh what a wonderful journey!

Thank you for sharing your talent with us, for coming back to music even with weekly tests, masks for instruments, and lots of hand sanitizer! I hope you thought it was worth it, I sure did and I loved every moment being with you all! As I’ve said now for the last few years, you’ve persevered and you are all amazing every day!

Thank you to the families and volunteers for making the program flourish. Thank you for the laughs, the cheers, the sweat and the friendships.

Thank you to Mr. Hinojosa and Mr. Nishimori for the fun and laughs.

Thank you Vikram, David, George, Michaella, Lara & Jeannette for being the best of the best teams.

Thank you all for the opportunity to serve.

It has been the best 8 years at FHS with you all, as well as watching some of you grow since Hart and some way back from Lydiksen! I will miss you all at band shows, band trips and even rehearsal but I’ll be in the stands next year and as I’ve always said, I’m your #1 Fan!

Persist and persevere

Band Camp & Welcome Pancake Breakfast
Looking ahead to the next school year, our Marching Band camp will be Monday Aug. 1 – Sat. Aug. 6. The Marching Band and Color Guard have a great time and learn so much of the new program at camp.

We are going to continue our tradition of having a Welcome Pancake Breakfast for the Marching Band families on the last Saturday of band camp (Aug. 6th). We need a parent volunteer to lead this event. It’s really an easy event to be in charge of – it’s just a fun Saturday morning of meeting other band families and getting a sneak peak at what the students have been working on all week.
