Concert Band
The Concert Band(9th Grade) is a performance-oriented ensemble designed to allow the intermediate musician to improve and maximize their capabilities on their given instrument. Students will learn and perform music of the concert/symphonic band literature.
Performances will include a winter and spring concert and various concert festivals and competitions in which the ensemble is entered.
Students in Concert Band are encouraged to participate in Fall Marching Band/Color Guard.
The Concert Band is under the direction of Moises Fagundes and Erik Nishimori.
Symphonic Band
The Symphonic Band(10th-12th Grade) is a performance-oriented ensemble designed to allow the intermediate musician to improve and maximize their capabilities on their given instruments. Students will learn and perform music of the concert/symphonic band literature. Performances will include a winter and spring concert and various concert festivals and competitions in which the ensemble is entered.
Students in Symphonic Band are encouraged to participate in Fall Marching Band/Color Guard.
The Symphonic Band is under the direction of Moises Fagundes.
Wind Ensemble
The Wind Ensemble(9th-12th Grade) is an audition based ensemble designed for the performance-minded music student. Wind Ensemble performs at concerts, celebrations, and competitions.
Students are exposed to compositions of various stylistic periods which they perform. Wiond Ensemble will allow experienced musicians to improve and maximize their capabilities on their given instruments. Students will also learn and perform advanced music of symphonic band literature.
Performances will include a winter and spring concert and various concert festivals and competitions in which the ensemble is entered.
Wind ensemble/percussion students are encouraged to participate in Fall Marching Band/Color Guard.
The Wind Ensemble is under the direction of Moises Fagundes.
