Ensembles-Orchestra

The Orchestra Program has two programs: String Orchestra (9th Grade) and the Symphony Orchestra (10th-12th grade).

The Orchestras are under the direction of Erik Nishimori.

String Orchestra

String Orchestra is a performance-based ensemble designed for students with experience on violin, viola, cello, bass, or piano.  String and full orchestra music from all major music periods will be rehearsed, analyzed, and performed. Music theory and music history are part of the learning in the String Orchestra. The orchestra will perform at festivals, concerts, and community events throughout the year.

Symphony Orchestra

Symphony Orchestra is a performance-based ensemble designed for students with extensive experience on violin, viola, cello, bass, or piano.  Advanced string and full orchestra music from all major music periods will be rehearsed, analyzed, and performed. The orchestra performs at festivals, concerts, and community events throughout the year.
