Our Foothill Band Booster Club is a non-profit 501(c)(3​) corporation. It supports Foothill Instrumental Music and Color Guard through service, advocacy, and financial support.

How To Pay Your Student Share Donation

  1. Make your check out to “Foothill Band Boosters Club” and write you student’s name in the memo area. You can drop your check in the Band Boosters mail slot in the band room or mail it to FHS Band Boosters, P.O. Box 866, Pleasanton, CA 94566
  2. Via Future Fund(Transaction fee is applied)
  3. Via CutTime(Transaction fee is applied)
  4. Via Pay Pal: click “Donate”, then click “Foothill Band” (no fees)
  5. Corporate Matching: Many companies match funds when you make a donation to a non-profit. Foothill Band Boosters Club can provide a receipt or any other documentation you need for corporate matching. Find out if your company matches fund and contact  treasurer.student@foothillmusic.org

Breakdown of Expenses

● Staff/clinician cost: 40 to 50%
● Buses, trucks, food & equipment: 30 to 45%
● Uniforms and concert fees make up the rest

2025-26 Program Costs and Individual Student Donations

Individual donations cover Student Expenses – Each year we devise a student budget and ask the parents to split the cost of the planned students’ expenses. As the Foothill Band Booster Club is a non-profit organization (tax ID #94-2795425), these are voluntary tax-deductible donations. If anyone has any donation questions or needs a tax deductible receipt, please reach out to treasurer.student@foothillmusic.org.

  • Annual Band Donation for various ensembles:
      • Marching Band:  $900
      • Winter Percussion:  $900 (+$ for uniforms)
      • Jazz Groups:  $200
      • Wind Ensemble:  $225
      • Winter Guard:  $900 (+$ for uniforms)
      • Honors & String Orchestras: $100
      • Concert & Symphonic Bands: $150

For your contribution, total the above costs for the program(s) in which your child participates.  For example:

  • A student who is in Fall Marching Band, Concert Band and Winter Guard – your total donation requested for the year is $1,950 for the year ($900 + $150 +$900)
  • A student who is in Orchestra and Fall Color Guard – your total donation requested for the year is $1,000 for the year, ($100 +$900)
  • A student who is in Wind Ensemble, Jazz, Fall Marching Band and Winter Percussion – your total donation requested for the year is $2,225 for the year, ($225 +$200 + $900 + $900)

  • Some key facts about our budget
    • We will receive a $100k allotment from state measure 28 funds in 2025-26.
    • Historically, 65% of the families pay the Annual Student Donation. In 2023-2024, it was 35%
    • In 2024-25 with 75% of the families donating above and beyond, we met our numbers! Let’s do even better this year!
