Foothill Band Booster Club is a non-profit 501(c)(3​) corporation. It supports Foothill Instrumental Music through service, advocacy, and financial support.

How do I make Individual Donation?

  1. Make your check out to “Foothill Band Boosters Club” and write you student’s name in the memo area. You can drop your check in the Band Boosters mail slot in the band room or mail it to FHS Band Boosters, P.O. Box 866, Pleasanton, CA 94566
  2. Via Future Fund(Transaction fee is applied)
  3. Corporate Matching: Many companies match funds when you make a donation to a non-profit. Foothill Band Boosters Club can provide a receipt or any other documentation you need for corporate matching. Find out if your company matches fund and contact  treasurer.student@foothillmusic.org

Breakdown of Expenses

● Staff/clinician cost: 40 to 50%
● Buses, truck, food, equipment: 30 to 45%

2024-25 Program Costs and Individual Donation

Individual donation covers Student Expenses – Each year we devise a student budget and ask the parents to split the cost of the planned students’ expenses. As the Foothill Band Booster Club is a non-profit organization (tax ID #94-2795425), these are voluntary tax-deductible donations. If anyone has any donation questions or needs a tax deductible receipt, please reach out to treasurer.student@foothillmusic.org.

Concert Band (Freshmen) $150

For your contribution, total the above costs for the program(s) in which your child participates.  For example:

  • A student who is in Fall Marching Band, Concert Bands and Winter Guard – your total donation requested for the year is $1,950 for the year ($900 + $150 +$900)
  • A student who is in Orchestra and Fall Color Guard – your total donation requested for the year is $1,000 for the year, ($100 +$900)
  • A student who is in Wind Ensemble, Jazz, Fall Marching Band and Winter Percussion – your total donation requested for the year is $2,225 for the year, ($225 +$200 + $900 + $900)

Parents should be aware that you can contribute in numerous ways, including

    • RaiseRight (formerly ShopWithScrip).
    • Corporate Matching.
    • Volunteer hours.
    • Food for competitions, band camp, and more.
    • Supplies, tools, and more that help support Foothill Instrumental Music.
