Hello Parents!
We are just 30 days away from our Winter Show at FHS. After a 2 year “hiatus” being hosted at AVHS, it is AMAZING to be back home to host our Winter Show.
Winter Show Leads
There are 4 lead positions we need help filling:
1. Co-Coordinator – This person would shadow me (Rob Reyes) to learn about the show, what is needed through the day. We’ll call janitorial staff to help with doors, bathrooms, and more. We’ll make sure all our visiting schools have what they need and answer their questions. We’ll check in on the judges and our volunteers, making sure they are having all they need for the day.
2. Sign Lead – This person would help design signage we need for the show. We have templates that already exist, so all you would need to do is update them. We would also have to create a map detailing where signs go. You would then coordinate putting signs up the morning of the show. Student Volunteers really help make this possible and fun.
3. Equipment – You would send out our Equipment Spreadsheet to all our leads, keeping track of what stuff everyone will need for the day.
4. Parking – A CRITICAL role that helps our visiting Winter Perc and Winter Guard schools. The coordination of this is a shadow of how it goes in Fall. You will work with Mr. Fagundes and I to figure out how many trucks each school is bringing and where to put them in the parking lots. A lot of schools only bring a box truck or small trailer for props and instruments. We are not charging for parking this year, and might use the teacher lot as overflow.

Volunteering/Sign Up Genius
We need your help to make this show and fundraiser amazing. It is expected that every family volunteers for at least one shift during the Winter Show.
Volunteer shifts will run between 7:30a to 5:30p. There will be many opportunities for you to help!
We will share the Sign Up Genius link in the coming days. Please be sure to sign up early, especially the Junior families that have someone going to Junior Prom that night.

We will be meeting on Wednesday 2/26 at 7:30p in either C6 or the Library. Watch the Band app for updates.
