Happy New Year, Parents! Welcome to the 2024-2025 Foothill Instrumental Music season! We eagerly anticipate a year of music, growth, and wonderful experiences.
To our incoming Freshman parents, get ready for an incredible experience. Your student-musician will have a fantastic year, experience new challenges, and mature in new ways.
To our returning parents, it’s great to see you again! Your continued support and dedication are the backbone of this program, making it special to all the kids. We truly appreciate you and look forward to another fantastic year together. Thank you.
I want to invite all of you to our Pancake and Dosa Breakfast on August 3rd, 2024, at Foothill High School. We will be in the breezeway in front of the Band Room. We’ll have signs posted for the incoming parents, so it is easy for you to spot our event from the parking lot.
This event is for all parents, guardians, and Foothill Instrumental Music student musicians. This music program is one of the best in California, and we want to celebrate this new year with everyone.
The Pancake and Dosa Breakfast is the kickoff event for the music program. We’re [excited] to start the year with this event. The breakfast will be from 8 to 10 a.m. At 10 a.m., we will move to the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR), where we will have a Parent Welcome and Kickoff Meeting. At 11:30, we’ll make our way to the football field to see the progress of our Marching Band and Color Guard.
Expect a follow-up email later this week with opportunities to donate items to the Pancake and Dosa breakfast and volunteer opportunities!

I understand some of you will be on vacation during band camp, which is OK. We assure you that the Parent Welcome and Kickoff presentation will be available so you will get all the critical information.
