Jazz A/B

Jazz band performed at Back to School Night.

Symphony Orchestra

The chair placement results is out! Last week, the students started playing the new pieces as an orchestra for the first time. They were challenging for many, especially for rhythms and phrasing, but because of that many of them will certainly learn a lot!

Wind Ensemble

Last week in the Wind Ensemble, students got their chair placement results. They also received their first three pieces of music: Chroma, Urban Dances and Month of the Cold Moon. The pieces are exciting with interesting dynamic changes over the course of the piece. This week they will continue to refine the pieces and try to make them sound as great as possible.
