There are five weeks remaining until the March 3rd Election and absentee ballots will be received next week. We are encouraging student support to educate the community about the upcoming Bond Measure which will not only fund much needed repair and improvements to our school sites, but will also:
- improve Amador Theater
- build a new theater at Foothill HS
- improve the Foothill HS Gym
- improve or replace the Amador HS Gym
All of these projects are near and dear to our hearts.
In addition to the student challenge event this Saturday, there are many other ways adults and students can help. Additional walks are being held at 9:30am Saturday 2/1 and Saturday 2/29; Phone banking multiple nights, plus needed support for these activities. Students can receive service hours for all their volunteer time (except for this Saturday IF they opt to take a gift card for winning the challenge.)
