Fri. 5/13 – End-of-Year Banquet for all band, orchestra & color guard students

End-Of-Year Banquet is Friday, May 13th

Our End-of-Year Banquet is a fun way to mark the end of the year for our band students. This Dinner Celebration Banquet is open to all students in the music program. Instructors will present their awards for outstanding students in different music cateogories and the SENIORS Class of 2022 will be recognized & honored for their dedication in the music program. It’s a fun and free event for the Students.

ALL STUDENTS ATTENDING MUST RSVP HERE.

SENIOR PARENTS are also invited to attend. Regrettably siblings and parents of non-seniors are not included. Senior parents will need to purchase tickets for the event. A link to ticket sales has been emailed to Senior Parents in a separate email.

Calling Non-Senior Parents to pay it forward

We need parent of non-seniors to volunteer to help at our banquet this year. By signing up, you will get a sneak peak of what will happen when your student is a Senior. Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up here.

It’s not too late to SPOTLIGHT A SENIOR

The Foothill Band Boosters is still shining a spotlight on our 2022 Seniors. We will profile your senior until graduation. We want to feature ours Seniors in Band, Orchestra, Marching Band, Color Guard, Percussion – you name it. This is completely optional. By sending in your student’s profile information, you are giving us permission to post on the Facebook Social Media website on the Foothill Marching Band public page.

We will keep profiling them until graduation.

Please send a photo of your senior (you are welcome to use your yearbook page) and a short write up, including plans for next year, to vicepresident@foothillmusic.org.

Band Camp & Welcome Pancake Breakfast

Looking ahead to the next school year, our Marching Band camp will be Monday Aug. 1 – Sat. Aug. 6. The Marching Band and Color Guard have a great time and learn so much of the new program at camp.

We are going to continue our tradition of having a Welcome Pancake Breakfast for the Marching Band families on the last Saturday of band camp (Aug. 6th). We need a parent volunteer to lead this event. It’s really an easy event to be in charge of – it’s just a fun Saturday morning of meeting other band families and getting a sneak peak at what the students have been working on all week.

Foothill Band Yearbook will be here soon

If all goes as planned, we will have the FHS Band Yearbook by mid-May. We will notify you all when they arrive and where to pick them up.
