Message from Rob
Hello Parents!
This is the last week of Marching Band competitions, but we also are fortunate enough to see a number of additional performances including all bands at NCBA Champs this weekend. Months of hard work by our students and directors will be on display! I genuinely hope you are able to join us for a number of performances throughout the day.
There is a lot happening this week and the coming weeks! We look forward to seeing you in the coming weeks.
With gratitude,
– Rob

Friends and Family Night – AVHS (Nov 17th)
The Friends and Family night will take place at Amador Valley High on November 17th. This is a non-competitive event where FHS, DHS and AVHS have the opportunity to display our field show performances to anyone in the local community. The show rotates yearly between the 3 high schools. This is a great opportunity to invite friends and family to see the field show.
We will be serving hot cocoa to all marching band students after their performance. If we can get a couple of non-Senior parents to help prepare the hot cocoa so that our Food Committee Lead, Bjorn Jensen can sit in the stands and watch his Senior daughters, that would be great.
Senior parents – We will be recognizing the Seniors on the field and taking photos of each Senior.
The event is free and will start at 7:00pm. Rough breakdown of the evening looks like:
7:00-7:05 Welcomes/Hellos from all directors
7:05-7:30 Dublin senior recognitions/performance
7:35-8:00 Foothill senior recognitions/performance
8:05-8:35 Amador senior recognitions/performance
