Foothill High School Music Program

Welcome to the Foothill High School Music Program Website

The Foothill High School Marching Band is one of the most successful high school bands in the state of California.  In the past 32 years, the band has won nearly 1,000 Sweepstakes awards and 1st Place trophies.  We also have the prestigious honor of having represented Northern California five times in the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade.  No other Northern California band holds this honor.

Under the direction of Efrain Hinojosa, we feature our marching band, color guard, two jazz bands, winter percussion and guard, wind ensemble, symphonic band, and concert band.

Donations Needed!

Please consider donating a ream of copy paper to the music program, or a case of water for the marching band performance days ... or both!  Donations can be left in the band room.  Thank you in advance so much for your support!

Letter Jacket Order Information

ATTN Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Families:

Attached please find the form for ordering a letter jacket.  The vendor, Jacketback, will be at FHS for Walk-Through Registration, so you will have an opportunity to see a sample of the jacket and to ask any questions.

2017 Band Camp Information

Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year!

Band Camp is scheduled to start on August 2nd for incoming members and 

August 3rd for returning members, 

and will then run from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM through August 9th.  

We will not have band camp on Sunday, August 6th

*It looks like very warm weather ahead - 

please begin to hydrate in the days before camp begins!*  


There is a mandatory parent meeting on 

Saturday, August  5th at 6pm 

in the band room -  we will go over  important information for our upcoming fall competitive season, as well as spend some time with the marching members on the field to share the experience of a marching band member. 


During band camp, lunch is scheduled every day from 12-1:30, and 

dinner is every day from 4:30-6pm.  

Please make sure to bring lunch/dinner or arrange transportation during our meal breaks. 


At band camp we will be spending a majority of the time outdoors.  Please plan accordingly.  The items below are very helpful for your musician to have every day:

·      Sunscreen

·      Water (half gallon bottle/jug)

·      Hat

·      Sunglasses

·      Closed Toed Athletics Shoes

·      Sweatpants / Jacket for the evenings

·      Instrument (if not borrowing one)
